I was really pleased for Phil Barnett today at his Mayor Making. People who dedicate many years of their lives to help the local community deserve days such as these.

The actual ceremony in the Corn Exchange was very good. The Park House choir and band were excellent as was the speech made by Cllr Julian Swift-Hook.
The outgoing Mayor, Cllr Adrian Edwards, did a damn fine job in my opinion and will be a hard act to follow.
